Recreational Classes
-
Our recreational classes in gymnastics cater for boys and girls from school age to teenagers. They are tailored to help the children benefit from an active lifestyle whilst having fun, and to develop socially and physically. Gymnastics incorporates strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power, and discipline benefitting all children.
We plan our sessions progressively to develop a variety of basic gymnastics skills in a fun environment.
The recreational classes are based upon fun gymnastics and all children will have the opportunity to take part in our annual competition, attend holiday workshops and extra sessions.
The sessions also provide access pathways for those with potential to join our more advanced groups. Beginners start with 1 hour per week and, if/when they are ready, may be invited to join our Intermediate or Competitive groups.
-
We run recreational classes Monday - Saturday! When you sign up, you will be able to state your preference of a day and time. When there is a space in your desired class, we will notify you and you will be offered a trial session.
-
1 class per week (1 hour): £27 per month
2 classes per week (2 hour) £50 per month

Intermediate Classes
-
Intermediate classes build on the strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power, and discipline learnt in recreational classes. This level of gymnastics can be seen as moving on from the beginners stage, where the gymnasts will have the opportunity to build on their basic skills and push themselves to exciting new opportunities.
Intermediate gymnasts will have the chance, 3 times per year, to gain our in-house badges and certificates as they progress through the reward system.
Gymnasts in these classes will also be given the opportunity to take part in our annual Spring club competition, attend holiday workshops as well as extra sessions.

General Gymnastics Squads
-
The first rung of the competitive ladder involves being selected to join a squad group where the gymnasts are expected to attend regularly, work hard and show that they are consistently positive and determined to improve their gymnastics. Squad gymnasts will either take the General Gymnastics route or follow the Women’s/Men’s Artistic pathways.
Gymnasts in our General Gymnastics squads can expect to take part in the annual Norfolk County Competition, and will be given opportunities to take part in several friendly events throughout the year. General Gymnastics enables competitors to compete on individual pieces of apparatus as oppose to contesting an all around position. This pathway takes gymnasts from Level 1 through to Level 6.
-
The days and times of these squads varies depending on group and level. Gymnasts in our squad system will often train across a minimum of two different days. To obtain, and maintain, a place within a squad group you will be required to attend all sessions allocated to the group.
-
Squad fees:
2 hours: £46 per month
2.25-3 hours: £55 per month
3.25-4 hours: £60 per month
4.25-6 hours: £68 per month
Additional information

Women’s Artistic Squads
-
The first rung of the competitive ladder involves being selected to join a squad group where the gymnasts are expected to attend regularly, work hard and show that they are consistently positive and determined to improve their gymnastics. Squad gymnasts will either take the General Gymnastics route or follow the Women’s/Men’s Artistic pathways.
Gymnasts in our Women’s Artistic Squads can expect to take part in county competitions once or twice each year, and may have the opportunity to take part in friendly events and competitions. Artistic gymnastics requires a high level of refinement and precision and is therefore naturally more selective. For all gymnasts joining an artistic squad, the initial two months act as a trial period on both sides and changes may be made at the end of the review period. However, we operate a continuing system of review for all of our squad gymnasts to ensure that they continue to train at a suitable level and subsequently receive the best possible experience they can whilst at Spring.

Private Lessons
-
We offer private lessons or semi-private lessons (max. 2 people) to members of the club.
Private lessons can be for anyone whose skill level ranges from beginner to competitive gymnastics or parkour. Private tuition is our way to enhance skill effectiveness and progression for our gymnasts in a one on one learning environment. We have found it a very rewarding and effective way of learning.
-
You should liaise with your desired coach to arrange a time and date. This will be dependent on when the coach is available, and when there is suitable space in the gym.
-
Lessons are for 1 hour and come at a cost of £30/hour for 1-2-1 private lessons and £40/hour for 2-2-1 semi-private lessons for our members.
-
If you would like to book a private session with a specific coach, please email them directly or discuss it with them in person.
If you would like to make a general enquiry about a private session, please contact Heidi Palmer, Head Coach.
